NETFLEX Pay
Introduction
NETFLEX Pay is a future project, not an operating service. It is envisaged as a digital payment platform intended to make it easier to pay, transfer and collect money, particularly where mobile money is widely used but does not yet connect to the wider digital economy.

The problem
The gap between mobile money and the wider economy
Mobile money is everywhere. Paying an international merchant, moving value across borders, or accepting payments as a small business is still difficult.
- Mobile money that cannot reach international merchants
- Slow and expensive cross-border transfers
- Small merchants without practical digital collection tools
Our solution
One wallet, built around how money already moves
Rather than replacing mobile money, NETFLEX Pay is designed to sit alongside it, connecting the wallet people already use every day to the things it currently can't reach: international merchants, cross-border transfers, and merchant collection tools most small businesses don't have.
How it works
What it does
Digital wallet
Designed to let people hold, send and manage money from one place.
Payments
Intended to support everyday payments to merchants and service providers.
Transfers
Planned person to person transfers, including across borders.
Virtual cards
Envisaged virtual cards for safer online purchases.
Merchant tools
Planned collection and reconciliation tools for businesses.
Cross border transfers
Designed to send and receive money across African borders.
Objectives
What has to be true before this ships.
- 1Define the regulatory path in each market before any launch
- 2Integrate with the mobile money providers people already use
- 3Support merchant collection and reconciliation from day one
- 4Never present the product as licensed or operating before it is
Benefits
What changes for the people who use it.
- One wallet instead of juggling separate apps for local and international payments
- Small merchants get a real collection and reconciliation tool
- Cross-border transfers without relying on informal channels
- Compliance designed in from the start, not retrofitted later
